Kisis Technologies, A Factory in Action!

A New Director of Operations is Hired

Here is an interview with Mr Michel Garneau, new director of operations for Kisis Technologies.

Talk to us about your experience in the 2nd and 3rd transformation field?

I have 6 years of experience on the level of the transformation industry. I was responsible for the school-factory Scifor, located here in Dolbeau-Mistassini.

What is a school-factory?

It is a factory where people who want to return on the job market are formed. Thanks to this school, several people could acquire experience and various knowledge to find a permanent job.

How do you foresee the future of Kisis Technologies?

Kisis Technologies has a most promising future! The innovative product that offers Kisis aims at an expending market. Among other things, following the new laws forbidding the production of chemically treated wood and toxic for the health, we are well positioned to deliver the upper and most completely environmental product to the consumers.

We must take the future of our regions in hand and the 2nd as well as the 3rd transformation of wood are our main instruments to get there. With a product of this quality, I foresee an unlimited future for Kisis Technologies!

What objectives are you aiming as part of your functions?

In the short term, I want to increase the production to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I also want to develop markets, either in partnership or by ourselves by putting on the market finished products such as: modular patios ready to put together, tiles, floor, etc.

In the intermediate and long-term, the addition of new ovens at the Dolbeau-Mistassini factory as well as the setting up of other factories in the regions of Quebec where raw material is available.
